I just want to recommend this amazing game. "The Dream Machine". I found a demo for it over on Kong awhile back, and I was completely taken. It's episodic, but so far a really well made adventure. Folks who like point and click will love the atmosphere, beautifully animated from clay and cardboard, dark and a little scary. All 5 chapters together for $12 now on Steam. Does anybody know if GOG has a plan to release this game?

I was interested in this and enjoyed the first episode. But in effect it has always online DRM. Is that not the case with the Steam version?

I'll hold out a while and see if GOG get it.

It would be fantastic for GOG to grab this but I'm not sure they will at least until all 5 episodes are out. Their model at the time being doesn't really allow for it.

They're also selling it direct through the store at http://www.thedreammachine.se/ for about 14 euros. Though not sure about DRM there

I played the first chapter and found it absolutely beautiful. Nice to see it's on Steam since that presumably means it's downloadable.

Anyway, the game looks interesting... but too much games on my "to do list" at the moment. So... pass!

Well the Bundle is selling at $15 which sits nicely in GOGs pricing for indie games. It's a possibility, and thus I will hold out any purchase.

I've got so many unplayed games at present, I don't see any reason to buy a game from steam. I'm not anti-steam, but I've just become so used to GOG's DRM free executables.

I finished Chapter 3 long ago, and haven't seen an update for the release of Ch4 and 5 yet - where they released silently or are they still working on them?

The FAQ still states:
When will Chapter 4 & 5 be released?
In a slew of months. It's played through the browser, on their site, so not exactly DRM-free.

I think the DRM IS Steam .
