Here's my attempt at trying to get my dog to pose as Max from MDK2. Attached are the photo I took and the edit of the screen as well as the original screenshot. Gave him a cigar for good measure. :P

Great contest! Three questions:
1. What kind of montage? With real pictures, with me or famous persons, cg images, etc?
2. Where to post it, here or send to the email address?
3. How many pictures can I send? (lots of ideas...)

strongly suggests that you should, to a point, reenact something IRL and photoshop it at your own leisure. It's hard to EXPLICITLY state the required photo-to-screenshot-to-photoshop ratio... but plenty of people have posted their pics WITHOUT the need for any clarification. Just DO IT, and worry about the rules LATER.

Like Vestin's quote says, I'm pretty sure you folks should be sending those to users(@)gog.com minus the 2 brackets. Though it isn't very obvious in the front page post; I almost skipped it myself. It may be better to write it as something like users(AT)gog.com next time, uh, whoever is in charge of that sort of thing? :)
I'm not sure if that even works anymore. The habit of replacing the @ started years ago, so who knows how smart email-grabbing bots are now? A bit of paranoia about email spammers never hurt anyone, I guess. Although it did get a lot of weird pictures posted publicly in a forum!
(Of course, this is normal for the internet, even outside of competitions)

Getting the dog to stay still and in frame was near impossible. As well as remembering how you are meant to pose after 20 attempts.

lol . . . I wasn't going to post anything but got pulled into "I wonder if". I don't consider it to be a valid entry so I didn't actually send it to GOG. It's a montage of images rather than a photo similar to their example. I had fun working on it though . . . =)

Well, it's just that I know how fond you're of photos... and what editing skills and eagerness you have! :-D

Skills . . . VERY debatable . . . =) . . . a life long photography hobby would account for any "eagerness" . . . . thanks for the kind words . . . =)
