Hey there. I haven't been able to find any solutions to my problem on the forums here, so hopefully someone could help.
I know some of you can't stand having a 4:3 game stretched to widescreen, but I like having a game stretched to fill the whole screen, and I really haven't noticed much distortion in the games. So, please help!
I have been playing Caesar 3 and Duke Nukem 3D on Windows Vista, with a ATI mobility Radeon HD3650. While I had Vista, the games worked perfectly fine and stretched to full screen. However, I just upgraded and reformatted my laptop to Win 7 32bit. Now if I change the resolution to a lower 4:3 resolution in any circumstance (GOG games included) it doesn't stretch the display anymore - instead it shows it in 4:3 withh the black bars down the sides.
I don't know if it's Windows 7, or the new ATI Catalyst drivers that are doing this, but I dislike playing the games with black bars down the side. :(
Please help!
