If you haven't done so yet, don't get SR2 on Steam. Just don't. Unless of course you have Steam installed to a hard drive with an exceptionally fast transfer rate. My Steam copy of SR2 is totally and utterly unplayable. The second you get in a car, it'll drop down to 2 fps while trying to drive that car at high speed.
When it was on sale on GamersGate a few months back, I picked it up on there, installed it to another of my drives (which is too small for Steam, but has a very good transfer rate) and the game runs with almost no noticeable slow down at all.

I actually put it off altogether. I heard the PC port was quite buggy and with a high possibility of not running well even on fast systems - I'm actually thinking about getting a used copy for my PS3 instead.

The game was made for consoles, not for PC. From what I heard, Saints Row 2 on the computer is a very sloppy port. It is still a excellent game on the consoles, even if you have to pay 60 bucks for it.

You are better off getting it on consoles at least the console versions have been patched. THQ simply couldn't be bothered to patch the PC version.

Picked up Day of Defeat: Source today. So far I've gotten exactly >two< games from this sale, the other being Cryostasis, which is extremely fun but makes my graphics card run hot.
Cryostasis is still on sale for $3.24, if anyone's interested. Just be aware that the game does not play nice with SLI or with PhysX turned on, from what I can tell.

Yesterday was my day. I bought Bionic Commando Pack, 2 Borderlands DLC's, Beat Hazard and Empire at War Gold. I hope we will see Wings of Prey deal today or tomorrow.

Will GOG be getting these? With a new one coming out in the next year, I'm real interested in visiting these old gems and would snatch them up if GOG had them in a weekend promo.
