Yeah, flus are apparently way more dangerous since they started naming their every mutation

I don't know... this one looks pretty dangerous to me.
The swine flu hysteria has annoyed me a bit as well. The swine flu isn't any more lethal than the yearly flus that we see all the time. The press coverage is blown way out of proportion. (At least over here)

AlexY: now people are avoiding me because I *supposedly* might be a swine flu carrier. Because *everyone* with a bit of a cold is automatically a swine flu carrier. Like, *duh*.

That must suck, and their fear is ridiculous. First, you probably just had a cold. Second, the swine flu is a fairly mild flu. Third, *anyone* could theoretically be infected, symptomatic or not - these paranoid fools should stay indoors and hermetically seal their windows.
Seriously though; for those who are worried, the most effective precaution you can make is simple: Wash your hands before you eat, and don't put your unwashed fingers in your mouth, nose, eyes etc.
I was under the impression that Steam had an innocent habit of mistakenly pricing promotional packages higher than the individual games. It is, actually, no Mistake. As you can see on the screen shot.

Or pricing individual games higher than that of the pack(s) containing them. As is the case with Overlord 2. There have been many such erroneous listings. But unless Steam's goons made a typo then it's ultimately the fault of the publisher.
EA Store atm. Can't purchase SimCity Societies Destinations.Fu...ing server errors.
I can't stand EA's Store.
One, it goes through Digital River, the same ****tards that turned around and told me that because I activated a game four times, I have to REBUY it, and two, they shirk you out of five bucks just to promise you access to a download file for a full year or two.
Not to mention the downloader itself was horrible.

It's not hard to compare the amount paid through a pack, or discount, versus what you'd pay normally.

The Downloader has improved a lot, well it should given its on version 5 now. As for buying games there don't unless its DLC. Go to G2Play.net, buy retail key, activate on EA Download Manager, Make a cup of tea, profit.

Can't stand the over hyping of Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

Dragon Age: Origins has hype for a reason, and only a few games are worth the hype they are given.
DAO is one of them.

I'd email EA's support and see if they can reactivate your original game for you (if you haven't already bought another copy. I'd be surprised if they didn't do that for you.
They've got better, the downloader is better and they don't charge you to redownload anymore. It's also easy enough to make a backup copy and install without the EA downloader if you uninstall it/reinstall OS.
Their storefront site has ridiculous bandwidth problems though.
