It's an 8 year old game, in the grand scheme of things that's a recent game. More importantly, that's the price the publisher has decided on here and elsewhere. I suggest you write to EA.

As a couple of other folks have mentioned, GoG arent the ones to decide the price (steam has it for this price as well) Bioware/EA decided on this price for the digital version across the board.
(You get more for the gog version than the steam version as well)
