Can anyone tell me the download size on the bundle on offer as midweek madness?

I think the better question is why the Risen series is not on GOG.

Since Risen is made by the same folks that made Gothic, I'd guess huge. Somewhere in the 6GB range. Unless they magically fixed their inefficiencies.

Thankyou for replying. I kmow what you mean, i had hoped it would come to GoG also.

Im hoping its a smallish download (sub 10gb)
The base game is 5.5 GB. The pirate's clothes look like a rather small file size, while the two locations probably don't add up to even half of the base game size. If I were in your shoes and trying to estimate, I would probably set it at about 7 GB, give or take 1 GB.

EDIT: And I hope there's an Ang reference at the Air Temple :-P

Well, afaik Piranha Bytes had some kind of dispute with their Publisher Jowood while developing Gothic 3. Afterwards they made the Risen series for Deep Silver(Koch Media). So Gothic beeing here has nearly nothing todo with Risen beeing not here. ;)

Honestly, unless I find a dirt cheap boxed copy, I'm just going to wait until it hits GOG (probably years from now).

Plus, since it's a PB game, there are probably some technical issues that are still being worked out.
It came out last year right? I remember being frustrated (but understanding) that the collector's edition was not available in the US. In general, I find that many PC releases skirt around releasing CEs in the US, which is terribly frustrating.

The DLC's are "on-disc" except for the voice files, which I don't think even hits 100mb a piece.
Thank you all for responding, my bank balance wont thank me but ill bite and get it.
Are the dlcs worth buying? I mean is it a lot of new content or just a bunch of small sidequests?

I hope there is an hour or 2 per DLC (not counting the outfits) but we shall see
