This is for the fans of the original Puzzle Quest.
The demo for the new Puzzle Quest is out for the PC. Let the addiction begin again! Woot!
Read about it here. You can thank me later....
Is 13 minutes long enough for me to give you thanks or should I come back later?
I wish to see puzzle games on GOG.

I had my Puzzle Quest fix on the PSP.
By the way guys, this thing runs great on my laptop so it should run super smooth for those of you with the hopped up rigs....

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted... Dunno, pretty nice, I just have a feeling it won't be as good as original, but what the hell, addictive as hell nevertheless

This one is a whole lot harder because the pieces can move into place from different directions. Plus, these damned enemies can re-energize their damn shields so you can be sitting there fighting them for quite some time. This game is totally better than the original for me at least.
Yeah, but another direction kinda takes away simplicity I always liked about PQ - but I'm not criticising, if I wanted to play original PQ, I'd just play that, it's a nice change
FenixP: Yeah, I agree. I thought this one was a bit confusing, tbh. And maybe more random? I lost the second battle in three moves or something...
I'll definitely give it another chance - I love the new graphics, and I am usually a fan of sci-fi stuff as well. But it didn't have that instant appeal that PQ had.

I like the challenge of the drop direction being different. I waltzed through the original PQ. This one actually felt more like a gritty battle rather than moving one's balls around.
Going to have to buy this when it comes out now, another game for the already too large catalogue of games I need to play and complete.
The only worry I have is with the hacking which looks like its going to be a very large part of the game if its the only way to get to each star system. I can say without shame that I sucked at it, I don't enjoy being rushed on puzzle based games. The up side is it doesn't look as if you have a penalty for failing it so you can try it as many times as you like. Though if it takes me 10-20 trys to get to each system I'll probably get pissed off at the game before I ever complete it. Did anyone else have trouble with the hacking?

I did with a gate labeled as "Medium". I could not crack it for the life of me. I swear this damned game delights in torturing the user, and this is a good thing. This game is the most challenging thing I have played in a while.
Oh man, Puzzle Quest/World of Goo/Peggle is like my crack... you just ruined my clean streak.
