Something gave him such a fright

Hmm... I've definately seen it, but which game graveyard is it from?

I'll got for "King's Quest IV" but there are a few others it may be from.
Not KQ4... but close!

Quest for Glory IV?

Andy_Panthro: Quest for Glory IV?
That's it.
M> "Be careful boy. Do not insult a man with knives!"

B> "Please move aside. I seek the cave."

M> "Beware young fool, my grip may slip!"

B> "No bother sir, you missed the mark"

M> "I do not miss... except at will"

B> "I must return your gift, kind sir"

M> "I leave you now, and dodge your sorrow... but I may NOT be so nice tomorrow."

A small conversation from this memorable game, chosen because I couldn't think of an appropriate one-line quote that people would be able to guess.

I may be away for a while, so if someone knows they've guessed correctly, continue the game and I'll confirm when I have time to come back on GOG.

Andy_Panthro: [Malcolm vs Brandon snippet]
The Legend of Kyrandia.
And since I'm quite sure of it, here's the next quote:

"Being an Archmage doesn't mean I can burn armies with a single movement of my eyebrows! Those are naïve and silly clichés!"

EDIT: Hint - It's a game from GOG catalogue.

EDIT 2: Since there are no guesses for two days, next turn is free to take.

Reviving this thread after almost two months in hopes that some of the newer users will join in or that older users still have quotes to share.
Here's a quote to kick-start it again.

"Now we're cooking Diablo-style!"
Ahh, I'm going to say nobody's going to get that. Even a Google search turns up nothing. How about an easy (?) one:

"Einstein would turn over in his grave. Not only does God play dice, the dice are loaded."
^Good thing you revived the thread; quite some time has passed since my quote, so it was indeed time for a new one.
For the record, mine was from Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich; El Diablo says it when he's attacking (I recall only with an overpowered attack).

Just to keep all the questions answered, this one is from King's Bounty: The Legend

I can't think of anything other than this seems like Terry Pratchett humour and I know nothing to do with any of his games.
Good quote though!

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
Oui. Carry on.

(It was either going to be that, or "Gentlemen, forget what your courtesans have told you: size does matter.")
-"What a couple fools die in a barfight?"
-"That is no less a crime than what has happened."

The game is a giveaway but where it happened is not.
