My vote goes to Chasm: The Rift. Not only did it end on an unforgivable cliffhanger, but the cliffhanger itself was just a bunch of on-screen text. No prompting to go back to the main menu, no "To be continued...". Nothing. You just had to quit the game from the pause screen.

Let's hear 'em, guys.
X-Com Apocalypse - all those hours just for a "YOU'RE WINNER" screen. Whoop-de-do.
Just thinking about the ending to Halo 2 is so disappointing. It wouldn't have been as bad if I hadn't waited three years to play the damn thing. Then you had to wait another three years to find out how it all ended, which was another disappointment altogether.
KotOR 2

Shadow of the Colossus.
Gothic 3.
For me the biggest kick in the Nuts was Prince of Persia 2008

It was a great game overall but the ending was one of the worst things I have ever witnessed

I'm not even angry that it ended on a Cliffhanger, what I'm angry is that Ubisoft never continued this storyline or gave any sort of Conclusion, even the Epilogue DLC was pointless and did not do anything story wise

Ubisoft: "Hey guys, we are taking Prince of Persia in a completely new, Cel-Shaded direction"

"PoP 2008 releases"

Ubisoft: "LOL JUST KIDDING GUYS, WE WEREN'T REBOOTING ANYTHING, ENJOY YOUR SHITTY CLIFFHANGER ENDING WHICH IS NEVER GETTING A SEQUEL AND UNFINISHED STORY"

Ubisoft you DICKS, argh, I'm so angry right now...

Guess I'll have a drink and calm down...
SHOGO. ended so badly compared to rest of the game it's just sad.

Original ending of Fallout 3. That was awful.

Ugh, yes. Made no sense.
Requital : you kill the boss and you get a Game Over across the screen. Nothing else.

*Thumb up*
Fahrenheit. Don't want to spoil it for anyone but you get what feels about half way through the story and then a load of random stuff that's only just about explained happens and it finishes. It's like the second 1/2 of the story was crammed into the last 1/8 of the game.
Just about every console game of the 80s. They were nail-hard and if you ever did beat one, you were treated to some crappy "congratulations, you beat the game" screen with a small picture. Whatever you may say, it still beats any ending like that of Fallout 3.

Very true. "Oh, we're so edgy, you must either kill yourself or you'll look like an asshole! Genius, I tell you!" Not that Broken Steel was much better, but at least you had more options.

Dragon Age 2's endings sucked as well. I blame sequel-baiting.

Or Dark Messiah. All endings are way too short and abrupt.
I heard Rage is pretty disappointing. But for me it think it is Witcher 2 and Fahrenheit. Never feel satisfy with those endings.
Neverwinter Nights 2: You are a hero, well done. Now the roof caves in and rocks fall on you head. The End.

I am seriously not joking about that.
