Barring things like ET3D and reaver894 posted, of course. A stranger on the internet is just that, and until you've spent some time with them, they are whoever they claim to be. This leads to good intentions being exploited often. Not that this doesn't happen in the real world either, but there is more immediate feedback in that scenario.

I don't intend to discourage good deeds, and would like to see more of them. I'm just suggesting that they be carefully parceled out in the virtual ecosystem.
Real life is the place things are occuring. I just post good deeds I've done from time to time, and if I find other people doing the same I write about that as well.

That's fine too. We are social animals after all, and often are spurred to good actions by those of others.
