I'll have a look at the demo, internet chatter on this one has increased enough to make the effort.
I'm not fully sold on the idea of real-time between battles, but only because I remember the original game (Where I would always die by my army being 'converted' into ghosts) and early HOMM series.
so, does anyone know what form of DRM is used in the game?

Faithful: so, does anyone know what form of DRM is used in the game?

From the Steam Forums
Retail: Securom disk check, no activations or limits.
Digital Distribution: Digital Distribution's service DRM.
I'll confirm that the retail version uses Securom 7, disc check only. I personally haven't run into any issues with it.
I almost forgot... Warning everybody: If you start playing King's Bounty you will probably be totally addicted for two or three weeks. I've warned you.
Well, I just ordered it from Amazon for $14.98 along with the upcoming Civilization IV Complete Edition. This way I paid no shipping costs for either.
$15.00 sounded like a good deal for what appears to be a decent game.
15$ is a steal for this game.
ah damn.. I had decided that the game was probably not worth it.. now I´m going to have to check it out anyway. But I have so many games I still have to play!
