So today it's the Independence Day of Finland. Like almost a hundred years ago, those big shot guys decided that we're all strong, independent Finns, so they called the Russian big shots and probably said something like "we're moving out" and the Russian guys were all like "oh, okay". The Swedes probably thought "whatevs, we know your heart still belongs to us" and decided not to snag us again. Or something like that. Anyway, it's pretty cool.

To celebrate, I'm having a giveaway thing here. To my knowledge, there are 2 Finnish games in the GOG catalogue: Flatout and Shadowgrounds, and I'm giving away 1 of each. I want you to post something here in Finnish to participate (y'know, because it's like totally related to the day). There are some added conditions though: no cursing, no booze/drug words, nothing disturbing. Those added conditions are there because I don't want to reward for silly things. It doesn't need to be anything fancy either.

..but if you're Finnish, it better be something profound or I'll quote you and make silly smileys. :D

The winners will be decided by a random draw after about 10 hours, so that would be around 20:20 GMT+2. Do mention if you already have either of the games or merely wanted to say something in Finnish just for fun. You won't be disqualified for having English in your post, as long as there's a bit with Finnish in it. Don't copy other posts' Finnish bits.

I think that about covers it. I hope I didn't forget anything important.
