Is the game Super Meat Boy hard? I don't like games that are hard like that. I like games that are most of the time easy but once in awhile, bring you close to death.

It is really nothing like SMB, it's a Metroidvania action-rpg game, where Super Meat Boy is a platformer. I do enjoy the game though, and recommend playing it. :)
I've only played the demo, but it seemed like it was going to be a bit on the hard side. Try it for yourself and see what you think, that is if you haven't already: http://www.unepicgame.com/en/downloads.html
I didn't find it hard at all. Except for the final boss, where you can't save (unless you play on an easier difficulty); that did get tough.
You can choose among 4 difficulties and very very few situations will kill you instantly. Unlike Super Meat Boy which forces you to become good at jumping if you want to pass each stage, this is not the case here, because you have choices on how you can tackle each part of the game, whether it is weapons, magic, potions and/or pets.
I'm playing on a normal standard difficulty (don't remember how it's named) but it's immensely easy. Maybe too much. Death has no consequence, the game autosaves very often.

I should have played on harder difficulty where you have to teleport back to the central cube in order to save. Anyway, no, it's no smb. It's closer to sands of times, in terms of difficulty/saves.
Who cares if it's hard?! You get to run around bare ass naked toting around a demon inside you, convinced you are on drugs, all while make some great pop culture references. It's a must have.
No, it's nothing like SMB. You can turn the difficulty up to Hard and it's still approachable for first-time players.
I heard there's too much swearing in the game...

Well it's no Tarantino movie swearing, that's for sure.

There is NO SUCH THING as too much swearing. Besides, profanity is totally subjective; you can't label a word "bad" or "naughty" and if you think you can the 1950s just called, they want you back. :P

JudasIscariot: I counted about 4? "bad" words in my current playthrough. I am at the sewers now. Yes, there is some cussing but it's more like a word here and there not entire sentences that contain certain words being used as nouns, verbs, pronouns, and even as punctuation :D.
I think you quoted the wrong person. :D

Bite your tongue. Judas doesn't make mistakes! He's a 'Blue'.

Seriously, after a profound fuck up like that he's bound to get fired which means one of us gets his parking space. Who's in?
Buy it, it's really good. I put some 40 hours into it, and I don't even like this kind of games.
