It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

doesnt have to be malware. my cpu was also going at 100% scanned everything. nothing. then found out it was utrorrent , something to do with disk cache.
Norton 360 is infamous for very heavy process and ram consumption even on when the program run in background. But if you're not sure, you can take screenshot of your task manager and post it here. What's your netbook load on idle state?

Detlik: Hi everybody,
Some time back you helped me pick a slightly used notebook, but now that notebook is making me want tear my hair out. I was just browsing internet, minding my own business, then I fell asleep for some time and when I woke up EVERYTHING overloads CPU to 100%. I launch web browser (tried firefox and chrome, not at same time) CPU jumps to 100%, I launch dos game, CPU jumps to 100%, I watch movie, and as you could guess CPU jumps to 100%. And I did these thing one at the time (nothing was launched in background)

I tried complete Norton 360 check (Defrag, Virus scan, browser cleaner etc.), but I am running out of ideas. I will try to install/launch CCleaner and SuperAntiSpyware but when everything takes 100% (Anti-virus check was performed for DAYS....literally) it will take insanely long time. If anyone has idea what to do I would be most grateful.
I recommend you pickup the program called Everest. It will allow you to monitor temperature and core activity of your computer and you can closely check how your hardware reacts to certain actions and programs and you will quickly find the cause of your problem. If it turns out to be random maybe check the cooling systems, make sure the vents are not obstructed, etc.
Did you have Super Anti-spyware installed along with Norton before this started happening? Because that could be the problem. You've got two anti-malware programs running at the same time, and they could be fighting with each other.
I'm still guessing it's his Norton. Op, as a friend I honestly recommend getting rid of Norton and getting a good free or paid anti-virus/firewall/etc combo. I use AVG myself, while some use Avira. Both are free and used by many people, and both use much less resources than Norton.

Try remove norton. then if problem persists, see if it's hardware failure...It happened to me before when I start a program and cpu goes to 100% and never come back.
Great, so I uninstalled Norton and the problem is still there.
This happened to me when my computer was overheating.

So you might want to look into the system temperatures.
*sigh* I reinstalled whole notebook and the problem is still there so hurray for hardware error...
This reminds me, that I held of in buying a notebook for years, because a throwable PC was just to tempting ....
