Congrats. For a proper gaming culture, you should first expose him to arcade games through MAME emulation. Or at least I'd do that if/when I had my own son/daughter :-P

LonePaladin: Early this morning, my son Tobias was born. He's a little small (6 lb.), but incredibly cute. I plan on raising him as a proper little gamer, with an appreciation for retro games.
Make sure to keep him away from bad things, like drugs, alcohal, and Call of Duty, until he's old enough to know better.

And also be sure to give him his daily dose of Doom and Quake when he's old enough to use the mouse!

Seriously, though... major congradulations. And also, I want to virtually shake your hand for being a true man...someone who's there to support his children and raise them. That takes REAL balls.
