Hi there!

We've been included in the poll for the weekly HIVE FIVE feature on Lifehacker, by the site's editor. Thanks to our supporters' votes we're currently way ahead of the competition (yes, including Steam) and we might have a shot at actually winning this thing, which would make for a nice media push for our service.

I'm not sure how many of you are frequent Lifehacker readers (or any other Kinja sites for that matter). It seems though, that you don't need to sign-up via Kinja directly to cast your vote, as there are many other ways to authenticate. So if you'd like to support us and help us reaching more people with our DRM-Free service, we would really appreciate if you clicked through to the GOG.com voting option on Lifehacker, and endorsed us by clicking the star under our service description.

On a slightly different note, It makes me very happy to see that the voters also take time to leave some nice comments about their experience with GOG.com. No other store gets as much appreciation :-) Thank you!

So, we DID IT! GOG.com leaped its way on top of the "Five Best Resources for PC Games" feature on Lifehacker. And thanks to you, we did it in style! :-D

Now, Lifehacker is making its usual popularity contest to see which of the five best options they closed down on is the most popular among their users (kind of redundant, yes, but the thing is now on top of their main page, and the results differ greatly in this round, usually).

If you have a moment to vote again, and show your support to our DRM-Free stance, you'll find the poll here:

Whatever the final result may be, I feel that we've won already. Only GOG.com can boast that many positive comments on the original entry. Well, "positive" doesn't really cut it. You guys really showed us some love in there. Personally, I'm proud as heck and I felt really touched while reading all those nice things you've had to say about us. Moments like this, really show us that we have something special here; you and us.

ShadowWulfe: On the Lifehacker link. There's another voting poll for the "crowd favorite", GOG was listed as editors choice, but not mob favorite.

HypersomniacLive: OK, it's quite possible that one or more of my add-ons or userscripts is getting in the way, but I can't find it. Could you, please, be a bit more specific? Thanks!
The poll is done via a Polldaddy plugin, so that my be the reason you cannot see it. It's located under all the nominated sites; descriptions.

The upside of it being a Polldaddy poll is that anyone can vote once from their IP without being forced to log in to anything or use any social media accounts.
