For anyone wanting advice on which GOGs to buy, here is the place. :)

Alrighty, I am in the process of choosing one of these RPGS: Arx Fatalis or Gothic.
Arx Fatalis:
Pros:
Neat game for a 2001 title.
Nice effects (Only played demo)
Cons:
Really simple combat but easy to use.
Some parts are simply too dark to see in. I can't find those fucking torches in the demo tutorial!
Gothic's turn (Demo as well).
Pros:
Well, it is a big area.
Combat is easy. Just hold the left mouse and use the move keys.
Cons:
Tutorial doesn't tell you shit they expect you to LEARN ON YOUR OWN. It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to move items into my inventory and another 10 to equip them and use them.
Even the beginner monsters can take you down.
Which one fellow GOGers.
Oh, and you were correct about UT2004. Bought it and love it.

Looks like you want to play them both. Just get one and then the other. Maybe gothic since its more expensive and you have the money now. Then you can get 5.99 easy (like putting the coins you get during the day in a jar and after a while check) for arx after you finish it.

I'm gonna buy one of them eventually. Just need some more time with the demos. =)

I don't know much about arx fatalis but I say you go with Gothic and tell me if I should get it :o I've always wanted to try that series but never could find the time to...
