i am an everyone who like dungeon keeper
While I love Dungeon Keeper and all... Umm, what's the point of this thread?
Dungeon Keeper was/is awesome!
The issue I had with it was that when I installed it.. it screwed up the MBR on the disk on which it was installed..
But if the gog crew get a hold of it.. hopefully that won't happen!
i agree with the for posts above including the question about the poitn of this thread :)
Dungeon Keeper is definitely one of the best games ever made.
reinstalling dk II now...
Thread would of been better if the OP have us their story on why DK is good/worthy/brilliant/word-of-choice.
I only had the demo of DK1, and DK2 refused to run on my PC. Would like to try the full game out sometime, if I can be bothered to find them and get them working. Or if they ever get re-released anywheres.

"Or if they ever get re-released anywheres"?
Gee, what if there was a place that *snicker* released good old games? *ahem*
Dungeon Keeper 2 had some issues with XP, on my previous XP machine, it refused to run... However, on the PC that I use now, also with XP, it works fine. Very odd. There's an XP patch out there somewhere if you ever get your hands on a copy of the game (outside of that magical place that sells good old games).
Okay, shoot me now.
EDIT: eBay search

I originally managed to get Dungeon Keeper 2 and Dune2000 for $10 at a sale over at the local BigW.
Spent a few days messing with DK2, no luck (and could find no XP patch back then), so I returned it. The person at the returns-checkout didn't realise it was a sale item (and I didn't know it would affect it) so they gave me a $10 refund. Thus giving me Dune2000 for free.
I still see DK2 around under the 'black diamond' (aka Rainbow Products Entertainment) packaging/distributor now & then. Usually in the budget bin if you want to avoid e-bay.

Ah, I haven't seen a copy of DK2 outside of eBay in a long while, but that might be because I usually only frequent EB Games. It's probably a good thing I don't drive, otherwise I'd be game shopping all over the place.
I couldn't find the unofficial patch, which makes me wonder if there really ever was one, or whether I confused it with this patch.
If you ever feel the inclination, you should check out DK2 again, and hopefully, you'll have better luck. It's well worth it.
Both Dungeon Keepers are good.
Dungeon Keeper 2 only works in Vista with Direct3D turned off which saddens me.
i r lyk dk2 too
i used to have the demon on a huge cardboard from game mania
to bad he died a few years ago during moving.
That gale had great boxart.
I like Dungeon Keeper. But I also like discussion value in threads.
