Thief 1 is a better start point in the series. :)

It's a great series if you've never played them.

The game is fun. I started with it. But there are a fair number of differences between this and the first two. In the first games coin doesn't carry between missions, the levels are longer, and rope arrows. 3 has a 3rd person camera and Shalebridge Cradle which is considered one of the scariest levels of all time of all games.

onyxmonkey: It did very well in the Insomnia sale. It might last a while (though perhaps not as much as say Tomb Raider did).

Then again, I just saw in the other thread that GMG had a recent sale on the Thief games. It might not last as long as I thought.
Well at least it looks to be counting down instead of up. Hope I can see 2005 before I go to bed. I'd be upset if I miss it and it actually turned out to be Neverwinter Nights (though I'm already super happy to have got MM1-6 and Gothic from this sale).

Oh well, M&M1-6 and Gothic alone made this sale worth it. :)
