DarkStar One offers you the option of upgrading your spaceship and fabulous views. Why not combining this two features and make a contest! Customize your spaceship, choose a beautiful setting and make an astonishing and breath taking screenshot! Send it to users@gog.com before Thursday, May 14 at 11:59 p.m. EDT and get a chance to win a free GOG.com game of your choice. The two winners will be announced in Saturday's community update news after the contest is closed.
You don't have to own the game on GOG.com to participate.
Edit: The two winners are Dedal and Romulus.

Sweet, might get me back into playing darkstar one again, I got distracted by uni work but now I can ignore it at the crucial moment for the chance of a free game! Wheee

This is an interesting contest as the customisation aspect within the game is pretty small; in fact its just down to which weapons you have and how advanced your ship is.
Anyway, I thought I might as well show off my ship - this is post completion.
Fun game too!

Romulus: That screen looks blurred somehow. Try uploading it as a .png instead of a .jpg, you'll get far superior image quality and the file size will still be about the same as a .jpg
I might post a screen later. (I have to reinstall the game first.)

Don't worry I sent a better quality one to GOG along with the others. I was just being lazy with the uploaded one here.
