acare84: 505 Games announced that it is releasing icy survival horror Cryostasis, fast-paced monster FPS NecroVisioN and World War II strategy title Men of War under the 1C Company label on Feb. 20, 2009 in Europe.
Great news, I want to play Cryostasis. Also I am waiting NecroVisioN. It is coming from Painkiller series' developers.

They developed Painkiller? Now I NEED to get this game! But that's one hell of a wait for a game that's already out in Russia, and someone made an English patch for.

TheCheese33: Also, if you can't wait a month or two for the English release, you could hunt down a Russian copy and download the English subtitle and menu patch that a couple of people from their forums put together. And if you're really desperate, you can take the somewhat shadier route, though I wouldn't advise it, since this is not some giant team and they need all the support they can get.

Did you play this game? I watched some videos of the game and It reminded me Penumbra. I think game will have few fights like Penumbra games rather than other FPS'.

I haven't gotten my hands on it yet (I don't know Russian, so I can't really order from a Russian site. I don't even know what Russian sites carry it!), but from what I've read from other people, it's much more combat-oriented than Penumbra. You're pretty much battling your way through the ship to turn all the heat on and kill the cold creatures like that. Though there appears to be puzzle-solving in the form of jumping into other people's memories and changing the past to change the future and heating up the ship, it has a lot more fighting.

Two artists from Painkiller (concept art, modeling, level design) are working on it, so it's a bit of a stretch to say it's the same developer. But the game does seem to take after Painkiller - hopefully it manages to have similarly good gameplay.
I hope my 8800 GTX is up for it...
