I've been looking for the name of this font for ages and I just can't find it. I really want to use the font for a writing project I'm working on. If it helps, the font is present in a distraction free writing app on the Mac called Writeroom, that's where the image is from.

Anyone have any ideas? I'll would be very grateful.

Try Consolas or Levenim MT in Word ;)
Also Miriam Fixed looks pretty close.

None of those are it. They're similar but not it. The difference is especially apparent when looking at the "y". Also, the font I'm looking for has a pixelated look to it. Thanks very much for the input anyway.

Off course they are not the same, exept the Y, all those letters match perfectly. The pixelated look is from the font being written in some kind of software... Or just google pixelated font.

I don't want to insult you but none of the letters "match perfectly". Why? Because it's not the correct font. They simply look similar.

Also, everyone, the question is not SOLVED, that was merely a misclick.

EDIT: Well, I looked up some pixelated fonts and I found one I liked so that will do for now. I'm still interested in the name of the previously mentioned font though.

It's an Apple ][ -stylized retro thingy, narrower than 40 col and wider than 80 col. You can always ask Jesse Grosjean what it is exactly.
Can't you just contact the developer?

Well, after you mentioned that, I looked up Apple II fonts and found one that is an extremely similar and I'm happy with it. I've also emailed Jesse Grosjean about it because it'll still be nice to know what the actual font is.
If anyone is interestedl, Jesse Grosjean did reply to my email. It turns out the font was called Glass TTY VT220 and you can get it from here

Everyone should try it out. It's a great font to get that terminal look when coupled with a black background and green or amber text.

Thanks, +1.
Ha ha, now everybody loves Sim City 2000. It is a nice game, too, I remember playing it forever when I was a kid.
Edit: Sorry, wrong thread.,
