Sorry if these have been asked before, or if they are clearly visible somewhere that I'm not seeing.
1) What format do these games come in? Can they be burned and reinstalled any time in the future?
2) How do some of the really old games play on XP/Vista x64? They are 16-bit games, and XP/Vista x64 will not run 16-bit applications. How does this work?

1) Games (installer) comes as a stand alone executable. You can copy/burn this as much as you like, due to lack of DRM. However, you are still bound by the TOS (Which is less restrictive than other places).
2) The really old games generally use a pre-configured DOSbox, it installs along with the game. Other games are wrapped and set for XP/Vista/32/64 on install.

1) Single executable file, no online check or anything. GOG could get nuked from orbit (It's the only way to be sure, ya know) and you could still install the game from the single file you backed up any way you like.
2) All their games are guaranteed to work on XP and Vista (Also I'm not sure anyones run into one that doesn't work on Win7, but I can't assure that yet).
