Installed UT2004 .
Don't forget to change your LocalMap=NvidiaLogo.ut2 to LocalMap=NoIntro.ut2 in the ut2004.ini file to bring back the amazing UT2003 theme as your main menu music for maximum pleasure ;).Cheers

F4LL0UT: In my opinion the worst in the series but still a great game. (snip)
Thanks for the insight; it doesn't sound like i missed anything, even though i'd still buy it if it were here. :) Regarding modding, i've never got into it in UT (and i barely scratched the surface of HL2 mods) but since i've heard that there are several nice single-player mods out there, i think i should look more closely for them.
Installed these :

Haha, restoring UT2003's epic title music was also something I always did, although I did it a lot less elegantly, namely by switching the music files' names directly.

It also always kinda puzzled me how UT2003 had such amazing title music while its OST was otherwise pretty weak compared to classic UT's and 2004's.

UT2003 ost was close to 2004, different maps different music but it was all the same, besides 2004 having a half ass shitty menus and character select screen compared to UT2003.

Glad to hear.I did it that way also, but then got ninja'd on an Epic forum thread years ago ;).The UT2003 title music is still king and gives me the chills every time i boot up up UT2004.The OST was forgettable but still atmospheric enough to bring that good old UT2003 vibe to life.Cheers
