Pretty neat - hey the game card also mentions "campaign to become ruler of a faction and recruit vassels" or some such - do you know if they added a quest driven campaign as well, or are they just referring to the original sandbox possibility?

This is one of the early games I bought when I got back into PC gaming, but I didn't use GoG at the time so I just have it on Amazon. I'm not hopeful it will get an update (ironically enough, I JUST looked at my software page the other day for the first time in ages).

I had been aware of Mount and Blade since probably ~2000 when the freeware early alpha / beta first 6 character levels or so were available. It ran like a slideshow on my computer LOL. I could barely get out of character creation but I immediately fell in love with the idea of the game (I can't believe there haven't been more spinoffs since then). Warband was an easy and early pickup when I decided to give PC gaming another shot a decade or so later.

Do you still have access to your Amazon download? If you do, then you should also have a serial for the game. If that's the case, you can just download the latest version from the game's official site and use your serial to convert it from a trial to the full game.

I don't own the game on GOG. I can't answer your question. Go check https://www.gog.com/reclaim if you bought a boxed copy. I dunno what regions that page works for, maybe all of them.

You know it's not a boxed copy, but it WAS an Amazon direct digital download that came with a serial / activation key... I might have to give that a shot.

Didn't work :( From the "Reclaim Page" it looks like it could be one of two things:

1) Reclaim might only work for Russian Territory sold copies
2) The "key" to be redeemed has to be the Starforce DRM key. I'm pretty sure the digital download I have doesn't include Starforce - Amazon basically sold it DRM free with just a serial to activate.

Maybe I'll keep my fingers crossed it updates there as well, or even eventually "double dip" and just grab a GoG copy at some point in the future.

Oooh I missed this the first time around. Awesome I'll do this - I didn't know it was an option. I'll go check that out later on. I'm assuming no account or anything needed? Just download the game, then "unlock" it with my existing Amazon serial?

Now I just need Descent: Underground to show up on connect - I already own it on Steam.

OK, I was curious as to how it actually worked, so I just gave it a try.

Once you have installed and run the game, a launcher pops up that prompts you to activate the game or continue in trial version. If you choose to activate it, you have the option of using an online or offline activation. Just follow the instructions according to the option that you choose and you should be good to go.
