It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

For bright or annoying LEDs I use a black permanent marker. It doesn't make them opaque, but it lets through a bit of dim light.
You can easily clean off the marker with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol).

Dreaganos: Yeah i know that when looking at cases and none of these new "gamer" things seems to fit.
But then i seem to have found the right brand for me, beQuiet!
Not to fancy looking and no buttons on top.

This one seems to cover most of your points.

That case is looking pretty good, I will need to look it over. I forgot about that company I will need to look in to their offerings.

Randalator: Just curious, why don't you want bottom vents?
I am concerned about dust. I also want to maintain front to back air flow. A vent for the PSU is fine.

drmike: Worried about liquids or dust on the floor getting in probably.

Just to throw this out, FreedomWings you don;t mention where you've been looking. Do you have "ma and pa" computer stores near you? For the longest time, that's where I got most of my parts until I found a server builder for our hardware.

Just a suggestion.
I am looking to buy online from Newegg or a local Bestbuy most likely.

I found that I can convert a 5.25 inch to 3.5 inch exposed bay with this:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6504T35113&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC-_-pla-_-Accessories+-+Hard+Drive-_-9SIA6504T35113&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIg8frqPaV2QIVjbbACh39ngvSEAYYASABEgLrbfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

As for the LEDs I am think I could swap them with more suitable LEDs.

My dad told me to look at this one. And remove the door to always have access to by exposed drives.

Might check out this Cooler Master series. Seems highly configurable and with a box-like, um, box:

I assumed that. That's why I was making the suggestion to see if you had a shop locally.

I find the local shops have more options with cases and power supplies over a chain where a buyer has picked one or two that he or she liked.

This is what I have now: https://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/chassis/neos

I will add rubber or felt feet to it when I get to buy some.

I was also looking for simple case - ended with Fractal Design Define R5 and I love it.
It maybe has not all your "points" but it's very good case.
Now I am looking at the Antec three hundred two and the Eleven hundred two. Does anyone know what color the case LEDs are on these two cases and how bright they get?

Also I found this to block off vents. http://www.caselabs-store.com/120mm-fan-hole-cover-plate-solid/
