Some games can't be changed and it might help if you at least name the game.
Open the unmentioned game and This and That and it will fix it.

You see how providing no information doesn't help?

No such game. Do you mean divine divinity or divinity original sin 2? Or maybe divinity 2? If that then maybe this will help:

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... but mostly I mean in this galaxy, games weren't "3D", but made with pixels. So unless you have some serious magic, you can't put (meaningful) pixels in a game that weren't there in the first place.

But in this case, take a look here:
http://www.wsgf.org/dr/beyond-divinity

No scaling, so HUD-elements will be pretty tiny if your monitor is smaller than 22" (it probably is a 22", right?).

If you're talking about Beyond Divinity, there's really no reason for it to be more than 800 by 600 or whatever it is. However, if you go to the Divinity Series forum, there should be a sticky with mods for Divine Divinity/Beyond Divinity and you should be able to find a widescreen mod through the info posted there.

The general forum on GOG is kind of like the OffTopic forums in other places - it's not really for specific games even though people post about specific games, instead of in those games' forums.
Look on PCGamingWiki for whatever Divinity game you're talking about, and you might find the info you need.
