The night is dark and full of epic art.

UPDATE: The Digital Extras are finally here, and boy do they look cool! There's a PDF Art book, plus a 27-track soundtrack composed by Clark Powell and Jesper Kyd, who you may know from his work in the Assassin's Creed series.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Featuring classic JRPG-style combat and the epic art of Joe Madureira, it follows the exploits of its diverse cast of comic book characters fighting through randomly generated dungeons. Traps, puzzles, secrets, a rich story and plenty of bloodthirsty monsters are calling to you - just make sure you pick the right skills and craft the sweetest gear before you go exploring.

Watch the trailer.

ThomNG: As on the Linux version, here is a statement:

Linux is coming soon!
Hi all! Despite the Linux tag disappearing, it's still in the plan and is currently being worked on.

We apologize for the confusion, but are dedicated to getting it done. Sorry it got messy, and thanks for sticking with us!

How do you define "soon"? Within your lifetime? It's been over a year. When I said "Linux version" I meant "GOG Linux version", as if that needed being said.

V4V: Do you have examples from this particular company or is that just your general pessimistic view on promises? If the latter, I don't share it. I trust people until they give me reason not to.
Yes, I have an example from this particular company: Battle Chasers: Nightwar. Or do you still trust them to deliver? It's been a year and a half. And no, a Steam version doesn't count, even though that's been out for over a year now as well.

I went ahead and bought this game a while back when it was on sale against my better judgement. Sure enough, it doesn't work properly on wine (no movies or crashy movies depending on tricks I throw at it). So, once again, money for nothing more than wasted hard drive space. What fun! I could've saved myself the trouble if anyone had actually answered my question instead of questioning my doubts of a working Linux release in my lifetime.
So is the Linux version coming to GOG or not??? Why developers think it's ok to treat GOG customers as 2nd class citizens???

They already get away with treating GOG customers like 2nd class citizens in regards to leaving out Achievements, which Battle Chasers has on Steam but not on GOG.

So that sets the precedent for them also to treat GOG customers like 2nd class citizens in other ways as well.

Does it? I don't remember them explicitly promising gog achievements in the release thread, like they did with the Linux version.
