Delayed, with a silver lining...

November 3, 2015 - UPDATE:
Due to publisher request, both the base edition and Collector's Edition of Hard West are again available 20% off during pre-orders - purchasing the standard edition will no longer grant access to the Collector's Edition of the game.

Ixamyakxim: No kidding! Congratulations it looks like a fantastic game!

F4LL0UT: Thanks, I'm definitely glad to have been a part of this and hope that you guys will enjoy the game. :)

Ixamyakxim: Mind giving a (brief) rundown on the content available outside of the turnbased combat? Even just a quick one sentence sort of "flavor" description?
avatar
F4LL0UT: Well, I better hold myself back unless I get an okay to talk about this stuff. All I can safely say is what was already apparent in our gameplay footage released so far: expect a pretty dark and hostile world featuring both classic western themes and the supernatural where you get to make quite a few RPG-ish decisions (which, I know, doesn't really say anything).
So is Hard West a Wild West X-COM or is an RPG with choices & consequences?

CarrionCrow: A question for you - if someone wants to support the developer, which is the better move to make? Buying pre-order at a discount, or waiting until release and paying retail price?
avatar
F4LL0UT: I'm not really in a position to comment on that, such matters are beyond us mere grunts. I just want to keep getting my paychecks (figuratively speaking, of course - actually they hand us a map and we have to dig up satchels hidden deep in the woods - they said something about a grey area concerning taxes).
We don't get maps :O

JudasIscariot: We don't get maps :O

F4LL0UT: Since when do imps get paid in the first place?
Same question can be asked of giants named Kabuto :P

F4LL0UT: Good news: FLAC will be available.

deonast: Excellent news, definitely goes on the wishlist
Just wanted to confitm the FLAC-iness of the OST from our side: FLAC is a go!
