Orkhepaj: Ah linux boy still forced to use win, but somehow linux is better... :P
I use both Linux and Windows but the reason to do a temporary offline Win10 install is I dont want Win10 (required by the game) on any of the computers I use. And to be able to play the game for free on launch date :D

Either way Ori and the blind forest runs superbly on Linux, the will of the wisps will probably do as well on the Steam version, via Proton/SteamPlay.

rgnrk: By your post being low rated I can see your view is not as widespread as you thing, at least among the forum members. Many people would rather have it here drm-free even without achievements because, well, many of us don't care one bit about them.

(And you could stil use your right to protest by not buying it. See?)

Orkhepaj: He is right thou. Publishers should give the same here as elsewhere. How can you accept to considered 2nd class customer cause you want to buy it on gog?
I disagree. Our version is not the same; it's drm-free. So we don't actually have the same version as elsewhere anyway. And that's a lot more important to me than achievements. In fact, I don't care about achievements at all, so yes; rejecting a game for that reason alone would be a huge disservice for the likes of me.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: There's nothing 'lucky' about GOG having the first. That game has Achievements on Steam but not on GOG, even though they could easily be added to GOG if the publisher bothered to spend a few bucks in order to give GOG customers equal treatment instead of treating us like second-class citizens.

Hopefully the second game will stay off of GOG until/if when the publishers/devs of both games decide to give GOG customers equal treatment with both games as they give to their customers on other platforms.
You could easily make up your own achievements if you wanted to. What's to stop you from doing that?

Or you could just enjoy the game without any extra 'tag ons'.
After all, I'm sure you don't really need a pat on the shoulder, and someone to say 'Well done, you spoke to that character 10 times.'
