OMG OMG fround one of my old book s cant believe i forgot about Legend of the Five Rings
Well D&D made it directly to video games. In fact a few sets of games actually use the 2nd and 3rd edition mechaniacs. Vampire The Masquerade had one game with the same name that used mechaniacs. Even Rifts got in on the video games, except I'm not sure how memorable that game was https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rifts:_Promise_of_Power. I'd like to see a Deadlands game.

Man I'm getting flashbacks. I remember at one point L5R was tied into D&D 3.5 edition for their "Oriental Adventures" book. Although I did enjoy that resource book, I found non D&D L5R and the original Kara-Tur setting quite a bit more compelling.

Breja: Are we only talking about RPGs or board games too? Cause I'd love to see a point'n'click Cluedo (Clue) adventure game. I loved the movie.
Hasbro Interactive released a PC game called Clue in 1996.  It's a mix of point-and-click, FMV and 3D.   Here's a gameplay video.

As long as it is a strategy game, not some FPS.
Something like Armageddon Empires, but with a good modern user interface.
Not sure if Ogre is considered a boargame or a wargame but I loved it growing up.

There was a computer version of it way back then, the PC version used CGA and the computer speaker (no soundcard).

GR00T: Not sure if they'd make good computer games, but I wouldn't mind seeing something done with Traveller or Gamma World.
There were a pair of MegaTraveller RPGs back in the day: The Zhodani Conspiracy and Quest for the Ancients. I have the documentation for MegaTraveller 1, but not certain if I have the disks or not. I did play the game on the Amiga.

As for Gammaworld, I used to have the 2nd edition rules way back when. My friend and I spent some time adapting Thudarr the Barbarian to it in high school, but never could find a group that wanted to play. I don't think I have any of the notes any more. I would love to see a game released based on Gammaworld - maybe using a modded Pillars of Eternity engine or an updated Neverwinter Nights 2 engine. Especially if it came with modding tools like NWN2, heh.

The hunt for Red October, TSR 1988 (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2903/hunt-red-october)
The video game (https://www.mobygames.com/game/hunt-for-red-october) only mirrored the book, but the boargame offered more options. Of course, would need to be updated, as a Kilo class diesel electric is now as Dangerous as a SSGN of the 80's.
