2001 a space odyssey was not released in 2001. Happens quite a lot, there could be 2001 other king of fighters games (paradox or telltale for instance).

On the other hand, sports games are often numbered (roughly) by the year they're released.

3993, of course. They're all 7 years early. They probably just use a calendar that's offset about that much from the common Gregorian calendar.

Fallout 3 is a really old game, from the time when Jesus was just a toddler.










*edit: Joseph played it when he was not playing the Witcher 3, or making a new cupboard (to put his collection of games from 3 AD in).
