WildHorseFantasy: I'm trying out Wine/Wine Bottler on Mac. I gambled and bought Secret of Monkey Island and actually got it to play the start. But then I quit and can't find it. It did have a few error messages but the game was definitely running.

The problem is I can't FIND the game. It clearly installed somewhere. It WORKED. Does anyone have any idea where it ends up when installed on a Mac?

I'm also concerned at THIS: /Applications/Secret of Monkey Island.app/Contents/Resources/wineprefix/drive_c/windows/Installer/19fe.msi: Win.Trojan.Agent-1429193 FOUND

which came from the mac virus scan. I don't know enough to know what caused it!

I'd really like it to get it working in Wine for my Macbook because I've read the game breaks on Win 10 anniversary update (which I've fought off by yanking the ethernet cord from the Windows PC. But that is clearly a temporary all or nothing fix, since I can't get any security updates that way. So...Wine for mac is my best hope.)
The game in question is being flagged as a false positive for whatever reason. You should be able to whitelist files from our installers as we wouldn't be in business very long if we were to hand out virus-laden files left and right :)

You can try turning your virus scanner off while installing and then playing the game and then when you are done just turn it back on again, if that helps matters any :)
