Darvond: I understand that God of War is similar.
I'd assume that God of War is probably more of the "Press X to Not Die" or "Press X then Y now to finish him" variety? Fahrenheit is "Press LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, DOWN, UP on one stick while pressing DOWN, RIGHT, LEFT, UP, UP, RIGHT, LEFT on the other one simultaneously", and there is no logical relation to what is going on in the game. On top of that the prompts are obscuring what's happening on screen anyway and distract you from it, since all you can concentrate on are what keys to press. It's a whole different dimension of insanity.

(Telltale is "frantically attack this button until the zombie lets go of you, or your keyboard, controller oder finger breaks".)

I don't recall any in Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People.
If you have trouble with the trolley eh, maybe don't play Breeze Harbour in Spyro 2.
