We sometimes get a fair bit of snow down here and I'm pretty far South. Still...people don't know how to drive in the stuff and many folks overreact. That's when all the milk and bread gets bought.

Have I showed you guys this? I know I have. It's great for scaring the shit out of the tourists. :P

And no I don't know who those people in the pic are, I grabbed it off Google, though it's only about ten miles down the road from me.

It just sounds bad. Like CARRiON alluded to, when you live in this climate people know how to deal with it. Granted it can still be annoying as hell but it's not nearly as bad as one would think. The roads are always clean, the schools never close. I love it.

Was in South Dakota working with a guy from Atlanta off and on since Feb. He was always complaining about how cold it was (about 28F was as 'bad' as it got).
