I was in close beta GOG 2, really enjoy the new design and awesome combination of python and javascript

My question
Why GOG galaxy is too big, have enormous size about 800 MB that only GOG with no game installers or so
I check the directory with WinDirStat and here is mine structure

I have SSD
My capacity is valuable
Please what folder is update cache or something I can delete them to free up my capacity

If you look at each directory seperately you will see that the biggest part are the redistributables (redists). Normally I would say that it is safe to delete those because after installation for a game you won't need the installation package anymore BUT in Galaxy's case I am pretty sure that Galaxy is only downloading the game files itself, sees which redistributables it needs and then accesses this folder to install the required redistributable for that game. This way people don't have to download the redistributables each time they install another game that requires them. Afaik Steam does it in a similar way. Long story short:: I doubt there's much you can do to get it much smaller.
