I'm playing Book I now and having a blast with it. Definitely going to pick up Book II, but I think I'll buy direct through Basilisk Games' web site. No DRM and no client required to run it if you get it that way. That's worth the extra 5 bucks to me.

I've been waiting on that deal from Impulse because I own SoC from them too.
Does anybody know if it has Tages? GamersGate version seems to have it but Steam doesn't. All I've been able to find out is that it needs a serial but maybe that is for online play only.
