Even though Evil Twin is a pretty mediocre game its soundtrack is easily one of the most amazing ones to be ever heard in a video game. Sadly the composer died several years after the game's release, pretty young too. The thought makes me almost cry while listening to his music.
Indeed. My mind was blown when it occurred to me that it's largely a cover version of the Dune 2 soundtrack with arrangements clearly inspired by the soundtrack of David Lynch's film.

I don't always listen to music, but when I do it's mostly game soundtracks. My playlist is not very long.

There's several beloved songs from Commodore 64 titles that I recorded off my own unit, a few from Amiga games, the few most epic songs from Baldur's Gate, Assassin's Creed and Bayonetta series, the two 'Old Gods' songs from Alan Wake and then the Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams soundtrack.

Also it's not exactly game music and I don't think that it's very available except in the game itself, but the licensed soundtrack of Brütal Legend is full of awesome to begin with and just made better by being from the game.

I quite like the main theme of Vangers. It's in both .flac and .mp3 (and in .ogg in C:\GOG Games\Vangers\resource\music\ )

Of course, Vangers contain more music than its main theme, but I don't want to listen to it before having experienced it in the game.

Eschatos. Best music for a shooter since Tyrian - IMO.

Valiant Hearts: The Great War has without a doubt the best music in my opinion, both in the way it sets the mood for the game but also because it's just really beautiful, at least most of the tracks.

There are a lot of songs from games I like though, the main themes from Morrowind and The Last of Us, Outset Island from Wind Waker and The Witcher soundtracks to name a few.

I rarely mix game soundtracks with what I listen to daily though, except for a cover of Outset Island I came across that had lyrics with it.
