i-Neptune: Hey there! I'm having a similar issue to the OP in that one of my games is stuck on "Aborting". Although my case is a little different (the problem started when I tried to cancel a download), I thought I may as well follow the same steps.
Unfortunately, I think I need a bit of extra clarification: I don't know where to find "webcache/2", "storage/2" or "support/2". As well as that, when I click "More" on the game's page, "Configuration" doesn't seem to show up, and I can't select any of the options after "Manage installation".
Feel free to reply if you'd like more details, or if you have any extra advice!
Hi i-Neptune!
To find out where the folders are, simply put one of the following lines
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\webcache\
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\
into run window (simultaneously press the Windows and R keys on your keyboard). Tap enter and new explorer window with one of the galaxy paths should open. Clean up the folder with the game you're looking for and see if that works..
I am not using Windows for quite some time now and I am not sure if this will help to be honest : D Please, let us know how things went!
update: Just tried out Galaxy in a Windows 7 virtual machine and paths seems to be a bit changed. Try the new paths from the quote above (usually C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy)
I'd try cleaning the
webcache folder first if I were you, starting up Galaxy and if nothing changed, deleting
jobs.db from the
storage folder.
