Anything that can actually be considered "living" isn't immediately dead the moment it is removed...

Some things may die quickly, but it's not "oh it was pulled out it's dead now".

Based on what? Pretty much anything in a nuclear blast is dead instantly.

How in the hell does this response even follow what I wrote?

The implication is that something cannot be instantly dead. Life which depends on certain mechanisms to maintain functionality is usually considered dead instantly upon removal of the mechanisms.

And then there's teeth.
Is Michał Żebrowski approving this? ;)

I don't know. It just doesn't feel like Geralt to me. The wig looks way too fake too - maybe that's why.
I think he`s a great choice. He just needs to get into character.

Another meth-head down on the street corner, huh? Maybe the Geralt role just attracts weird looking dudes?

kohlrak: Contrarily, though, by pulling on hair, you can indeed remove the follicles producing the death of said follicles.
avatar
tammerwhisk: That'd be damaging the structure that produces the hair so duh it could cause issues for future hair production. Hair isn't alive, the follicles are, but hair is not.

Unless you consider mucus, ear wax, stools, and the like alive (and no I'm not talking about the bacteria they contain)...
Hair is made up of cells. As hair grows the body kills those cells by essentially petrifying them - turning them into keratin in a process called cornification. So yes, the hair cells produced by the follicles were alive at some point. Mucus and ear wax are substances secreted by the body but are not made up of cells. Stools aren't made up of your cells but were probably alive at some point - though given the modern diet there's probably some stuff in there that's never been alive.

I hope he gets a cameo.
I knew casting Caville was a bad idea. He just didn't strike me as someone who can pull off the silver hair. Still I haven't seen the video because I don't have Twitter. I will look for it on YouTube a little later.

Could have been worse. I watched it on my phone though...

I think from a looks standpoint, Henry Cavill is an acceptable choice to play a younger, Witcher 1 type of Geralt. If one wanted an older Witcher 3 type of Geralt, then from the looks standpoint the best choices would be either Ron Perlman or Mickey Rourke, in my opinion.

I think that looks are secondary to roles, though. Shrimpy little Tom Cruise pulled off the Jack Reacher role admirably despite looking nothing like the character as described in the books. Oftentimes it seems acting ability can override physical looks.
