Hello. This game was just on sale but as i was about to buy it the sale ended, is there anything i can do? I have some insane purchase angxiety and when i finally built up the willpower to actually make the purchase it ended. :(
I've never seen this game on sale before and i've wanted to get it for a long time, had it when i was little.
I just assumed contacting support about this would be pointless, but i wanted to ask here just incase first instead of bothering support if it was something they cant help me with. Assuming i cannot get the game at the same discount (50% off) is there anywhere i can see when the next sale will be? Does anyone happen to know? Am i doomed to wait another decade for the next sale? ._.

Aw shucks! you could put the game on your wishlist and gog might sometimes alert you when it goes on sale again.

If you really want to play it now you can buy it full price, on the other hand if it just goes into your backlog it's better to wait until it's on sale again.

It's been on my wishlist for quite some time, infact almost as long as i've been a gog-member and this is the first time ive seen it on sale. :I I would buy it for full price if i could afford, but i have not bought a game for full price for.. im inclined to say a decade, if perhaps not so long, many years now. im a person with very limited funds. :P I would very likely not be able to carry on my gaming hobby if it wasnt for the great sales gog and steam have! Very thankful a place like this exist. ^_^

I have been in contact with support now. Unfortunately there is nothing they can do, which i understand completely. if they made an exception for me they'd probably have to make an exception for everybody and there's not really any point with a time limited sale if anyone can get it for the sale price after it has ended. :P

They couldn't comment on their sale plans either, only encouraged me to subscribe to their newsletter and such. Which i also understand. Those things are usually secret since it is a very competitive market. But it does still leave me in the same bad spot, oh well! Unless my economic situation takes a drastic turn i guess i'll be waiting until next time.
Unlike steam, gog's total library is not quite as extensive so it may not take a terrible amount of time until a similar sale comes around again, i'll just have to hope and see!
