I have noticed the trilogy is available to buy on GOG however the expansion pack "Legends of Aranna" is not available. I'm a big ultima fan and to play the new fan based U5 and 6 you need to have Dungeon Seige 1 and Legends of Aranna installed. Any idea if you can get the whole thing including the expansion pack from GOG?

Only the base games are available anywhere, including GOG and STEAM. That's because the expansions are owned by another publisher, I think it's Microsoft.

EDIT: However, there is a way to install and play the expansions if you follow this guide. If that allows you to play the Ultima total conversion mods, I don't know

You do not get the expansion pack on GOG. However, if you get access to the expansion pack somehow, you can make it work with the GOG version; check out the "Dungeon Siege" game-specific forum for more info (click "community" -> search the game series in the bottom left bar).

You don't need LoA for these, only the latest patch.

Is it the GOG version? I can only assume that it is patched to the latest version, which should be 1.11 or something like that. If it is, just download the mods and install them as instructed. Lazarus comes with a simple installer, it's really a piece of cake to install. I haven't tried U6 Project, though, always wanted to finish Lazarus first, but I always end up having no clue what to do after a short time. Anyway, I don't know if they can both be installed into the same Dungeon Siege installation. To be safe you should make a copy of the Dungeon Siege folder before installing Lazarus, and install U6 Project there.

Thanks for reminding me that these fan remakes are a thing - I'm not all that interested in the originals mainly due to their gameplay and horrendously dated UI. I'm quite likely to give Lazarus a whirl once I'm through with the official Dungeon Siege. :)

Does anybody have a good link to the Lazarus Mod? I've tried every link in the official page and any of them do work except a couple with terrible download speeds.
