It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Have you suffered problems downloading games? For me it is a constant problem every time. The download freezes or stops.
I have tried DownThemAll pluging for firefox but I get error 403 everytime. It is GOG related problem?

Can you help please!!!

Try GOG Downloader: https://www.gog.com/downloader

or use Galaxy ;)
the gog downloader is a better solution its stable and has worked just fine for years
galaxy on the other hand is still a mess
Thanks, I will try next time with GoG downloader.
Anyway, is there anyone else with the same problem as me? It's a common problem?

You probably don`t use Galaxy. It works very good for just downloading and automatic updates. It has few bugs, but is far from "a mess".

Do you know who else cannot download GOG games?

MY MOM!

xD

Dropping regular show jokes on the side, I have been downloading with chrome's similar alternative, and no error at all. I have just fired up Firefox and could download with the vanilla downloader. I thought I had the extension, I will try and report back.

Edit: I had it installed. It works.

Pro tip: Try and delete the cookies. I have sometimes experienced other problems because GOG cookie became evil.

I've dl'd at least a couple hundred games from GOG - mostly with that GOG Downloader, but a few with direct browser downloads (via Iron aka Chrome with no plug-ins) - and mostly it works fine and I get 'full speed'. Ofc there is the occasional issue - but to me that's to be expected.

Just within the past week I've dl'd over 6GB's worth of titles, via the Downloader, with zero issues.

I only chime in with the above because you were wondering if it was a common problem. If it is; thankfully it hasn't been apparent here.

I'd say try the Downloader. DON'T FORGET - you have to select 'GOG DOWNLOADER LINKS' from that 'MORE' drop-menu.

Do you have the same problem with other big downloads from elsewhere, using the same browser?

I don't think your issue is very common because otherwise everyone would be up in the arms because we can't download our games. :)

Someone suggested using the old legacy "GOG Downloader", but keep in mind it is already unsupported, and apparently there are already some GOG games that can't be downloaded with it, so don't bet on it.

Also, I personally think it is quite crappy. Unreliable, hard to use (you have to log in to your account BOTH from your web browser, AND that client) etc. If I was using it over a flaky connection, quite often I'd end up with corrupted downloads, no matter what kind of integrity check it is supposed to have. So it is not a foolproof download method either.

I personally would suggest you try the Galaxy client, and download the "backup installers" with it. Or if you are so inclined, let Galaxy download and install the games for you.

Alternatively, if you want to download all your GOG games (the offline installers), you could also try some third-party tools like gogrepo.py.
