You'll find two Discord chats related to GOG. One of them is based around the forums (mine), the other is based around GOG's Twitch stream.

Mine has a handy bot with a GOG based functionality that will allow you to fetch a search result for the GOG game (or movie if you will) that you want, complete with the price in USD as well as other information such as rating and release date (when available), and attachment support. However, the Twitch stream chat has more activity at the expense of the aforementioned two features. If I were you, I'd join both.

I don't normally utilize this kind of black magic, but I've also only recently discovered Discord and wondered whether there was a GOG server. Figured I'd search before creating a thread.

When our teamspeak server dies, we usually regroup on discord.

I'd be good for this kind of thing... making people laugh at my voice is my specialty. It would reduce stress levels for sure.

Nice! I might join in. Just a question though: Will I hear a notification-sound every time someone types a message in the group? I keep the client open pretty much all day, and this would certainly drive me mad :P

You can mute a channel.
You won't get the sound notifications.

You can also disable notifications on the client globally, and you could make it per-server, if so, you could limit notifications to just mentions.

Precisely. It is a Discord chat primarily made with the forum audience in mind, hence why I mentioned it here in this thread (and not anywhere else).

I'm glad i left your server it was driving me insane on how happy you where bragging about pirating games and torrenting which is both good and bad, i cant follow someone who makes gog look bad

Also command and conquer games are not abandware since EA still sells the games.
