Support is currently swamped, and there's this Corona stuff going on (if you heard about it). Try a little patience. CP might by a big game, but GOG is still a small company.

Which was foreseeable - Witcher 3 already walked over them - and that was the game that caused the tremendous hype for CP in the first place being such a massive hit. The current situation is by dimensions bigger - and CP sadly in a worse state than Witcher 3 at launch.
A portion of the (physical) cd-keys are a misprint, so yes asking amazon (if it was they themself who sold you the key) might be faster.
I have this same problem and my store already acknowledged the problem, knew it was a world-wide problem and said we hope we can give you a replacement key "soon".

GoG-support did send a auto-generated mail, that replies can take way over 24 hours (read week(s)) to get an reply.
I do hope to get lucky though, as long either way gives me a solution, I am happy.

If it is a 3th party seller from Amazon, the key may have been bought with a stolen credit-card, which may've resulted in the key being revoked.
