Like you, I have been anticipating this game, knowing that there would be a day one patch, I have been monitoring it for updates from time to time.

So now, this 9.7 GB update just came, and I'm just curious if this is the day 1 patch?

I heard that it will be around 43 GB in size.

I really want to play this game without having to download anything if I can download it in advance before release so that I can play it immediately.

Did you all receive this update as well?

Yes I got the update, I assume everyone did. I doubt it will be the last update, if that's what you mean, because there will need to be another one to at least unlock the game.
