pimpmonkey2382.313: Also a huge shout out to dampsquib for the sturmovik. I offered my trade to both guys also, and they turned it down many many thanks to both guys. :)
Super! Another very generous member.

EndreWhiteMane: I shall take the honor of starting the countdown to an amazing
50,000 POSTS!

1000 to go.

I'll leave it to someone else to decide what increments to count in.
(And yes Crow, it's basically another "Godsdamned Timer".) :-)
-laughs- That isn't a timer. It'll happen on its own, it's not something to be annoyed by like sale timers are.

I don't know, I know I'll be watching the post count like a hawk. ;)

I've done enough watching for a while. Watching this sale was like watching paint dry, so I think I'll just pick over my stuff and figure out what to play next instead.

Speaking of which, I'm a bit conflicted on whether to play Original Sin first, or to do a series run and leave it for last.

pimpmonkey2382.313: have to give a huge shout out and thank you to madth3, for the f-117. :D

It doesn't matter to the story I don't think, but Divine Divinity and Divinity 2 are fine games. Beyond not so much.
Dragon Commander I haven't played so no help there, reviews aren't great.

Yeah, looking at all the entries as an ongoing series, it definitely has highs and lows if the reviews are accurate.

My problem is that it could end up being like playing the third or fourth game in a series, when they've gotten a chance to iron out all the crappy bits.
Going back to earlier entries after you've played the best tends to suck, since you're just reminded of how bad certain bits are and how much you'd rather be playing the best of the bunch.
Oh my god! I have a friend who is so kind who gifted me things from my wishlist! 4 GAMES!! I can't believe it!
-Alan's Wake American Nightmare
-Retro City Rampage DX
-Race Driver: Grid
- The Wolf Among Us

Please if you see him around +1 him! He is Dampsquib!

Thank you so much GOG community for everything! You too GUN and EIT and Endre with your gifts! :))) So much!

Because my backlog is now longer than my life expectancy I've started playing games on a 'best first' basis. ;)
Divinity I started from the beginning but skipped the low rated titles.

I would say that it's worth going back and starting from the beginning.

The first game in the series is great as far as I can tell, I'm a few hours into it and still questing in and around the starter village! I haven't tried the second one but it's apparently a dud. Divinity II is a step in a slightly different direction (3D ARPG) and was my entry to the series and I think it's absolutely fantastic although rather difficult. Dragon Commander is a strategy game set in the Divine Divinity universe more or less, I didn't like nor dislike it much, I've only put about an hour (if that) into it after buying it last year.
