Beauty and the beasties.

Soul Saga, a colorful love letter to the beloved JRPG classics, is coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com!

What better place than the beautiful, fractured continent of Oterra, for the whimsical adventures of young Mithos and his band of unlikely companions to unfold? Dealing with the echos of a cataclysmic event that forever changed the land hundreds of years ago, this lovely bunch will employ advanced turn-based tactics, strong magics, cute animations, and lovely melodies to subdue the many bizarre creatures on their path. And when they want to get a better view of this vibrant world, they can just hop on their rad airship and fly to other, equally stunning yet deeply troubled parts of the floating islands that once made Oterra. Treasure, danger, and oddly-shaped enemies await them there but also secrets they may not be ready for yet.

Wishlist Soul Saga and explore a lush world with a giant JRPG heart beating at its core, coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Pre-ordered the Humble Bundle version a long time ago...
Glad to see the game here too ^^
Looks interesting - curious to see peoples impressions of the combat will be like (I was excited to see it was turnbased - from the look of the game I thought it was going to be a Tales style of combat).
Looks like an instabuy. So do the difficulty modes work like in Thief where the real missions are played at max difficulty?
The graphics don't look that great in the screenshots, but the Skies of Arcadia vibe is nice.
Kickstarter backer - glad to see it here on GOG. :)
Good to see this on GOG....(what about Disgaea 1 + 2?)
Don't know if I want this (certainly not for the first months of bugfixing) or if I wait till at last the 2nd chapter is released.
Did they turn the ambient shadows off in the screenshots? :P

Those screenshots make this look like a beta that's seriously missing a lighting engine.
Been following it for a couple of months. Looks quite promising.
Backed this on KS.
Ooh! Looks interesting
I do love a JRPG... wishlisted for now, will definitely keep an eye on this.
It has been a long time since I backed this game via Kickstarter.

Happy to see it coming to GOG.com!
So I checked out some of the videos on the game's Steam page, since I wanted to see what this looks like in motion. Frankly, the clips there make it look even more uninspiring than the screenshots. From the material that's available it comes across as a rather mediocre PS2-like game. Even visiting the old Kickstarter page didn't help make it feel any less generic.

Obviously, I don't get what the hoopla is all about. *shrug*
