Heya all

I'd like to know if it is possible to properly backup the gog galaxy client itself? I have all games installed via the client and don't want to re-locate every game after reinstalling the OS. Is it possible to make a backup of the client itself?

Did you ever figure this out?

I know this post is old but the following worked for me.

Copy the below folders to your new installation:

-C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Configuration
-C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy
-C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage

I stopped using GOG Galaxy and am continuing to use Launchbox. Has served me reliably over the years.
